Heat & Glo and Heatilator, brands from Hearth & Home Technologies, the worlds largest fireplace manufacturer, captured five Vesta Awards including the Best-in-Show Award in the hearth products category at the recent Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Associations EXPO in Atlanta. Presented by Hearth & Home magazine, the Vesta Awards honor companies whose hearth and barbecue products demonstrate the ultimate in innovative design and technology.

For the fourth time in five years, Hearth & Home Technologies has taken top honors at the show. This year the Heat & Glo Paloma freestanding gas stove won Best-in-Show, as well as the Gas Stoves & Inserts category award. The Paloma features a sleek European-design that appeals to a homeowners sense of style and sophistication. Its compact footprint, parabolic shape and double glass tinted front provides a stylish hearth solution for todays modern dcor trends.

Heat & Glo also won the Gas Fireplaces category award with its Aqueon hydrogen-burning fireplace. The Aqueon is the worlds first commercially available in-home hydrogen appliance. It revolutionizes fireplace design, operation and enjoyment by extracting and burning the hydrogen fuel in water.

In the Venting & Ducting category, the Heat & Glo Perennia gas fireplace with HeatLogic won thanks to its ability to let homeowners adjust the amount of heat radiating from the fireplace without sacrificing flame height or appearance. It is the first gas fireplace that enables homeowners to comfortably treat themselves with a roaring fire in any climate at any of time year.

In addition to these awards, Heatilator captured the Gas Logs category award for its Fireside Grand Oak Log Set. This extra-large log set closely matches the look of timber and employs a high-end burner design that provides an overall natural log fire appearance. The Firebrick Direct Vent Termination Cap and European Copper Termination Cap from Heatilator were also Vesta finalists in the Venting & Ducting category.

Were excited to be recognized by the industry for the technology and design innovations we bring to market, said Brad Determan, President, Hearth & Home Technologies. As we move forward, well continue to push technological and design boundaries to develop products that transform how consumers can use fire in the home to meet their functional and lifestyle needs.

The Vesta Awards were created to recognize and honor companies and products for innovation in design and technology. Judging teams are made up of retailers, distributors, product designers, test lab engineers, affiliate leaders and industry experts.
